When your best friend picks up a guitar and writes a respectable song, that’s when it’s time to do the same thing. Inspired by friends, Vince Nez began playing music by just that: picking up instruments and playing music. In the decade since, Nez has built a large library of recordings under various names. The recordings vary as much as the instruments Nez plays (guitar, fiddle, banjo, and trombone included). But despite the wide array of sounds in his catalog, Vince’s commitment, intention, and vision remain consistent. The Last Sip is about fluidity, friendship, and what can happen when people work together. Most importantly though, it is about the music.
